Celebrate NAIDOC Week with Bangarra
In the spirit of reconciliation and cultural sharing, Bangarra’s Youth Program Team are offering NAIDOC Week Dance and creativity workshops at our Sydney home in the Walsh Bay Arts Precinct on Gadigal Country. These workshops are open to dancers of all levels and backgrounds, inviting everyone to connect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture. Together, we’ll explore this year’s NAIDOC theme: The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy, honouring 50 years of celebrating the resilience and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
For $70 per session, the participants will experience:
- Dance workshops blending traditional Indigenous movement with a contemporary lens.
- Visual arts workshops, including boomerang painting, clapstick decorating, weaving, and more. Participants will create their own unique pieces to take home.
