We’re an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation and one of Australia’s leading performing arts companies, performing award winning contemporary dance shows across Australia, as well as touring internationally and into regional Australia. Our relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities are the heart of Bangarra.

Complementing this touring roster are education programs, workshops and special performances and projects, planting the seeds for the next generation of performers and storytellers.

We do not currently hold open auditions to join the company. It is a requirement that you are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander to join, and formal dance training is well regarded.
