Please join us in farewelling two bright departing talents in our family, Gusta Mara and Glory Tuohy-Daniell.

Gusta Mara is a proud Torres Strait Islander and Queensland man who came to us from NAISDA in 2019 as a Russell Page Graduate. He is a deeply focused and generous performer who may be quiet off stage but captivates audiences with his beautiful and nuanced style of dance. He is a remarkable storyteller and a role model for young Torres Strait Islander performers.

Glory Tuohy-Daniell joined in 2016 with OUR land people stories as a Russell Page Graduate and is a descendant of the Indjalandji Dhidhanu People of North West Queensland. Her passion for her Culture is prevalent in everything she does on stage, where she is a dynamic, earthy and grounded performer. Off stage, she has a vivacious, spirited energy that can light up a room. We will be fortunate to see her tell her own stories in her professional choreographic debut in Dance Clan in February.
