Your safety is important to us. The Studio Theatre at Bangarra is a COVID-Safe venue with appropriate protocols in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19. These requirements may change in line with NSW Government protocols. You will be emailed the most up to date safety information prior to the performance.  

 

What to do if you’re unwell

Please do not attend the performance if you are feeling unwell, have COVID-19 symptoms or have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting test results. If you are unable to attend due to COVID-19 your tickets can be exchanged for a later performance or a voucher of the same value. For further details see our Ticketing and Merchandise Policy.

Masks

We strongly recommend that masks are worn by all audience members aged 12 and over at all times unless you have a medical exemption. 

Vaccination

We recommend that all eligible visitors are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If you are not vaccinated against COVID-19 we recommend that you perform a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) before attending the performance.

Seating & Capacity Restrictions

The Studio Theatre at Bangarra holds up to 120 people. Seating will not be socially distanced and tickets are sold at 100% capacity in line with NSW Government Restrictions.

Babes in Arms Policy

Children under 12 months are admitted for free as long as they can sit on a lap and do not require a seat.

COVID-Safety Measures

Hand Sanitiser stations will be located throughout the foyer. Please practise good hand hygiene and sanitise regularly. 

The Bangarra premises receive a professional clean after every performance. Cleaning staff will ensure bathrooms, touchpoints and high traffic areas are regularly cleaned throughout performance days.

We have increased our monitoring of the air conditioning system and air flow throughout our venue.  We are monitoring C02 levels in the theatre and allowing as much outside air into the venue as possible.

Please socially distance where possible in the foyer, keeping 1.5m between you and other audience members.

Access Times

The foyer will open one hour prior to the performance. The Studio Theatre will open 15 minutes prior to the performance. Please move to your seat as soon as possible to avoid crowds forming in the foyer. Please only sit in your allocated seat.

Tickets

Print at home tickets will be emailed to you prior to the performance. Please have them ready, either printed or on your mobile device, for scanning upon arrival to the venue. For additional ticketing terms and conditions please see our Ticketing FAQ.

Food & Drink

There is no food allowed in the Studio Theatre. Drinks in plastic cups are permitted.

Filming & Photography

Filming and photography are prohibited during the performance for the safety of our cast and crew. Feel free to take photographs before and after the performance. Please keep off of the stage while inside the theatre. 

Child Supervision

Please supervise children at all times. The Studio Theatre at Bangarra is located along the waters of Sydney Harbour, please maintain a safe distance from the edge of the Wharf to ensure the safety of all visitors. 

 

For the safety of all audience members and staff, if you do not comply with these conditions you may be asked to leave the venue.
