On 10 March we returned to WOMADelaide for the first time in 24 years. Artistic Director Frances Rings' award-winning South Australian work, Terrain, was performed under the skies of Kaurna Yerta, and Uncle Reginald Dodd, Cultural Consultant for Terrain, joined the company for the special performance.
The WOMAD audience warmly welcomed the company, with thousands of people seated and standing around the stage at Botantic Park/Tainmuntilla.
The AU Review said: 'The Bangarra Dance Theatre are no strangers to WOMADelaide, and were fascinating to watch. Their tribal beat-filled dance performance was mesmerising. The troupe worked as one, with each individual movement intrinsically linked with the other.'
