PERFORMANCE UPDATE – Wednesday 7 July
In light of the NSW Government’s extended stay-at-home orders announced today, 7 July, Bangarra regretfully advises that the followings shows have been affected:
Performances of SandSong: Stories from the Great Sandy Desert at the Sydney Opera House on Saturday 10 July at 1.30pm and 7.30pm have been cancelled.
Performances of Waru - journey of the small turtle at the Bangarra Studio Theatre on Saturday 10 July at 11am and 1pm have been cancelled.
Affected ticketholders will be contacted by our Box Office team as soon as possible. We thank you for your support and patience during this time.

In light of the NSW Government’s recent stay-at-home orders, Bangarra regretfully advises that the following shows have been affected:
Performances of SandSong: Stories from the Great Sandy Desert at the Sydney Opera House until Friday 9 July have been cancelled. We anticipate being back on stage by Saturday 10 July, for performances at 1.30pm and 7.30pm. At this stage, there are no changes to performances on Saturday 10 July.
Performances of Waru - journey of the small turtle at the Bangarra Studio Theatre from Wednesday 7 July - Friday 9 July 2021 have been cancelled. We anticipate being back on stage for performances on Saturday 10 July at 11am and 1pm. At this stage, there are no changes to performances on Saturday 10 July.

COVID ANNOUNCEMENT - Friday 25 June
In light of the NSW Government’s stay-at-home orders announced today, Bangarra regretfully advises that performances SandSong: Stories from the Great Sandy Desert at the Sydney Opera House until Friday 2 July have been cancelled.
We anticipate being back on stage by Saturday 3 July, 1.30pm. Bangarra will be contacting all ticket holders directly via email. At this stage, there are no changes to tickets to performances from 3 – 10 July.

COVID ANNOUNCEMENT - Thursday 24 June
In light of recent announcements made by the NSW Government, Bangarra Dance Theatre’s performances of SandSong: Stories from the Great Sandy Desert at the Sydney Opera House will operate at 50% capacity from Thursday 24 June through Wednesday 30 June 2021 inclusive.
All bookings during this period will be affected and tickets will be re-allocated to ensure we comply with the latest COVID safety measures. In addition to mandatory masks inside the Drama Theatre, there will be at least one allocated seat between each booking to comply with social distancing. New Print-at-Home tickets will be issued to customers as soon as possible.
We will continue to monitor updates and keep our customers informed of changes advised by health officials. We thank you so much for your support, patience and understanding.
