Thank you for your patience as we’ve consulted with health authorities, governments, and partners regarding our season of SandSong at Sydney Opera House. The safety of our audiences, artists, and communities is our highest priority, and in light of the COVID-19 outbreak, we have postponed our Sydney, Canberra Brisbane seasons of SandSong, until 2021.
We are deeply saddened that we have had to cancel these seasons, but our spirits have been sustained by the support of our Elders, communities, donors, and audience members. Our songlines have survived and thrived for millennia, and we are looking for new and exciting ways to continue to share our stories with you in these uncertain times.
The impact of COVID-19 is far-reaching and our arts community is greatly challenged at this time. The financial impact of this postponement will be significant to our company. Please consider donating today to sustain our future. Your gift will help us prepare for a time when we can come together again in theatres, and when our performances and programs can connect people across our nation.
We are still planning on presenting our season of SandSong in Melbourne and Bendigo as planned.
We continue to work closely with government and health organisations to ensure we are following the most up-to-date advice.
If there are any changes up-to-date will posted here and we will contact ticket-holders directly via email.
As you can imagine, our team is receiving a high volume of calls at this time, so please email us if you have an urgent enquiry.
