  Clan - 2004 Double Bill

Bangarra's beautiful new work for 2004 is a double bill called Clan - featuring Unaipon by Frances Rings and Reflections by Stephen Page.

Unaipon celebrates the remarkable journey of Aboriginal scientist and inventor David Unaipon (1872-1967) from the shores of South Australia's Lake Alexandrina within the Ngarrindjeri Nation to his place on the Australian $50 note. Through her own unique dance-language, choreographer Frances Rings conjures the life and inspirations of a great Indigenous pioneer.

Taken from Stephen Page's best award-winning and internationally renowned dance works over the past 10 years, Reflections is a rich and evocative celebration of Indigenous culture. Dreamtime tales from the deserts of Central Australia and Arnhem Land and contemporary stories of urban life are woven together to form a truly outstanding piece of dance theatre.

We will keep you informed of when tickets for all venues go on sale.
